Introducing the

Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care

My tutor was extremely supportive from the first meeting, I thought the course was going to be delayed when I faced a physical injury but again the support from Paul was amazing and he found ways around it to allow me to keep progressing. He was very responsive when I needed to contact him & I have since recommended him to other colleague

Yes, the course is part-time and designed to fit in with your work. You will need to be already employed or volunteering within the sector in order to demonstrate your learning and for assessment. Your course advisor can explain how this would work.

No, you do not need any specific qualifications to join this course. You will need to have the ability to complete the specific modules at hand, which our course advisors can discuss with you before you get started. If you have any issues with the course content or delivery, we are here to support you with any additional learning needs you may have.

The course is designed to take 6-12 months to complete based on the recommended guided learning hours. However, you may complete the course sooner than this if you have the time to dedicate to your studying.

As this is a L3 grade qualification (A-Level), it will require a commitment of time and effort to achieve the qualification. We have a dedicated team of trainers who are on hand to support you and your hard work will result in a nationally recognised qualification which can support your future career aspirations.

Some employers may require you to hold specific qualifications in order to work in more senior roles within their organisation. Through our courses you will study all of the core elements of Adult Care, but you can also select a pathway that enables you to specialise in specific areas of Adult care to ensure you are equipped for whatever path you decide to take in the sector. Your course advisor can help you select which pathway is best for you and employment opportunities as a result of qualifying.

The qualification itself doesn’t guarantee employment, but having the strongest available qualifications will help you to stand out and some employers/roles may require qualification at level 3 before you can be considered. At Lifetime Training we pride ourselves on the quality of the delivery to ensure that you have all of the knowledge, skills and experience to be fully competent and confident in your chosen role.

There are a range of payment options available. You can pay for your course in full, take advantage of our interest free instalment plans (with no credit checks and a guarantee to be accepted) or you can choose to fund your course with a Government backed Advanced Learner Loan (See funding question).

If you’re aged 19 or over, you are likely to qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the UK Government. It’s easy to apply for, there are no credit checks, and you won’t have to pay anything back until you’re earning over £27,295 a year (If you come into repayment from April 2021) To be eligible you must be: - Aged 19 or older on the first day of your course - a UK national, or have ‘settled status’ in the UK and resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to starting your course - Studying for an eligible qualification with an approved training provider in England.

All our level 3 courses are RQF approved, which is essentially the most updated and evolved version of what an NVQ formally was and is regulated by Ofqual. The term NVQ, although still commonly used by many across sectors, has been updated over the last few years and is now technically termed RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework). Both terms are valid and portray the same standards of qualification recognised amongst the industry.
